Intro: Why are Online Resources Important?
~Online Resources are key to any students learning process, educators and parents alike can agree on that, but when you have a student or child with a special need it can become an essential element to his/her success in school. This Blog is designed to assist educators and parents in finding useful online resources to enhance these special students' needs. Not to mention reasons why this focus is so important!
Reason One: Special Needs Students Are Just Like Every Other Kid
I feel it is important to keep in mind that special needs children are equal to every other student, therefor they deserve all the opportunities those other children get. A deaf student should hear every conversation that is going on. a blind student should be able to read the material everyone is reading and learn how to type a paper on Microsoft word like anyone else. This is where technology becomes the answer!
Reason Two: Special Needs Assistance is Made Easy and Effective
With the technology available today, it is super easy to find software for assistance in learning for every grade level.
Reason Three: Encouraging Technology and Learning
Not only are you encouraging special needs students to learn but you are teaching them technology skills that will take them far in life and help them be successful in today's world.
